MALLORCA WEDDING IN ALFABIA

The 2024 wedding season has started for us with a wonderful location, the Alfabia Gardens in Mallorca. In this blog, we would like to share with you what is so special about the location and what a wedding there can look like.

Mallorca is known for its diversity in nature and cities. A very special place between Bunyola and Sollér captivates with its bright green. You can’t miss the gardens of Alfabia from the road. The oasis is located at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains and, in addition to the plants and the canal and capillary system built for this purpose, also offers a manor house built in the 12th century and rebuilt several times. The UNESCO heritage site provides a tropical backdrop for excursions and events, such as a pre-party, a Rehersal dinner and weddings.

WEDDING IN THE GARDENS OF ALFABIA

In June, after a long period of planning, we accompanied a wedding that took place in one of the most beautiful locations Mallorca has to offer. As is so often the case, we were on site before the guests arrived to keep an eye on everything and get everything ready. In the afternoon, all the guests arrived one by one on the shuttle buses. Cold, homemade lemonade and water were waiting in front of the imposing entrance gate, which leads to the inner courtyard and thus the location of the wedding ceremony. Just right for the summer temperatures on Mallorca.

Afterwards, the old gates to the inner courtyard opened to reveal the lovingly designed wedding ceremony. Once all the guests were seated, the couple were married individually by two family members. After the newly married couple left, everyone congratulated them and while the guests strolled through the gardens towards the Aperetif, the couple used the time for a short photo shoot.

Afterwards, they rejoined the guests and toasted with drinks and enjoyed the flying buffet. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone chatted easily. One moment that will probably remain in everyone’s memory was when the bride and groom were greeted at dinner. They were greeted with cheers and flying napkins to an atmospheric song. The dinner went off comfortably and besides a few speeches from the guests and the couple, everyone enjoyed the atmosphere.

The party was then kicked off with good music and a champagne fountain. After the romantic wedding dance, the guests celebrated and danced the night away. The bar was opened and nothing stood in the way of a long night of partying. Shortly before midnight, the wedding party moved through the illuminated gardens back to the inner courtyard. The wedding cake and the party room were waiting there. After the ceremonial cutting of the cake and the midnight snacks, the party continued into the early hours of the morning.

For us, this wedding in Mallorca was the perfect start to the 2024 season. We wish the couple many happy years and lots of joy with the memories they have created.
