A Wedding in the Mountains of Mallorca / Sóller

With its diverse landscapes, Mallorca offers a wide range of venues to suit every taste. Whether by the sea, in a valley, or in the mountains, you’ll find stunning wedding locations everywhere. Hidden in the mountains around Port de Sóller lies a breathtaking venue with views over the town’s harbor. In August, we had the pleasure of assisting with a wedding at this secluded hotel/finca in the Mallorcan mountains — a celebration that had us excited from the very start of the planning process.

The evening before the wedding, the couple hosted a small get-together in Port de Sóller. Together, everyone got into the wedding spirit while enjoying delicious food and refreshing drinks.

Ceremony with a breathtaking view of the sea

As always, on the wedding day we assisted with the setup and later welcomed the guests with a welcome drink. The ceremony took place in front of the estate on a small rocky ledge. The entire setup was white, except for the flowers. With vibrant colors like pink, rose, and orange, the flowers brought a bright and joyful touch to the scene. The couple exchanged their vows with breathtaking views of the harbor, officiated by a close mutual friend.

After the couple’s exit and many congratulations, everyone gathered by the pool to toast, enjoy small bites, and to really get the party started, a champagne fountain was filled.

Barbecue Love: A Wedding Dinner with a Special Touch

Afterwards, everyone made their way to the beautifully decorated tables and found their seats. Unlike most weddings, the couple opted against a sit-down menu and instead chose an individual barbecue station where guests could serve themselves. Table by table, everyone was able to assemble their plates exactly how they wanted. Cold drinks, colorful flowers, and grilling — the perfect summer vibe was complete. The cozy atmosphere was filled with lively conversations and speeches.

And of course, no celebration is complete without a party

And after dinner, it was time to party! The bride and groom kicked off the dance floor with a Rock ’n’ Roll vibe, setting the mood for dancing right from the start. With some snacks and drinks from the bar, everyone danced and celebrated late into the night.
